“The Swan” soon became “AMERICA’S MINISTER OF ENCOURAGEMENT”, a job he takes seriously as he continues to speak to about 150 organizations, faith-based groups and corporations every year. He has hosted two successful TV series, authored 9 books, and created over two dozen DVD/CD productions.
In the early 80's, some young guys from upstate SC decided to pursue their passion for Southern Gospel music and formed The Regals. They soon became a local favorite and their music and ministry began to spread while performing at many regional concerts, churches, and the National Quartet Convention in Nashville, Tn. With members leaving for other interest, raising families, and etc., the group disbanded in the mid 90's. In 2017, founding members Gary Hautamaki, Kim Lanford, and Carol Phillips reunited with former member Steve Woodard and began accepting limited dates while singing Regal classics as well as a set of new and current music.
